Our Director, Paul Coulson, has 25 years’ experience in people-related support.

Paul is an employment solicitor and employee relations specialist with significant hands-on commercial and leadership experience. He is achievement-oriented and is driven by pragmatic problem-solving and people-development.

Before launching PMC People Support in January 2023, Paul spent many years as a specialist in-house employment solicitor. He held roles such as Head of Legal, Head of Employee Relations and Senior Legal Counsel. Paul has experience across multiple industries, including financial services, construction, engineering, aviation and pharmaceutical, as well as the public and voluntary sectors.

Paul engages at all levels to secure successful outcomes. He is a passionate mentor and a champion of integrity, equity and inclusion.

Paul is a solicitor regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as well as a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce.

When he’s not supporting HR professionals or giving settlement agreement advice, Paul is also a proud parent to three ‘children’ (in their late teens and early twenties), a Member and Co-Opted Trustee at Endeavour MAT and Chair of Working Families.
